## Project Brief This 1950s twin house required a comprehensive renovation to bring it into modern living standards. The original structure, while solid, showed its age through an outdated façade and limited spatial configuration. The primary goal was to completely refresh the exterior aesthetic while significantly expanding the home's functionality through a strategically planned addition. ## Concept The design centers on a new double garage foundation that extends the home vertically, adding habitable space on both the second and third floors. This approach maximizes the existing footprint while maintaining the residential character of the neighborhood. The entirely new façade introduces contemporary design language, featuring clean lines and modern materials that honor the home's heritage while creating a striking visual transformation.
